Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist

The Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist will provide support to the Physician Services Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the privileging and credentialing process for physicians
  • Process initial credentialing and reappointment facility applications with the highest attention to detail
  • Complete governmental and commercial payer enrollments and revalidations for physicians
  • Communicate with physicians and affiliated medical staff offices to clarify questions and request any missing information
  • Update credentialing software system with required information
  • Maintain accurate and timely filing, scanning, and organization of physician documentation (e.g. expirables)
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with physicians, senior management, vendors, and employees from other departments

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years healthcare/medical credentialing or payer enrollment experience 
  • Associates Degree – Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • This is an advanced level administrative position, typically requiring business or vocational training
  • Administrative activities:  Strong attention to detail, organization and follow up
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills 
  • High level of confidentiality, discernment and judgment
  • Strong Word, Excel, and Adobe skills.  Ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • VerityStream Echo OneApp software experience a plus
  • Physician credentialing, payer enrollment and/or compliance experience a plus

This position would be working in a cubicle environment in our business office in Fort Collins, CO.

Pay Range

Starting pay range $20-22/hour

Biweekly (every other Friday) pay schedule
