PARTNERS

If your hospital, medical center or imaging center needs expert radiology services, you will find that Advanced Medical Imaging Consultants (AMIC) has the experience and resources needed to provide exceptional diagnostic and preventive imaging, as well as interventional radiology services to your affiliated providers and their patients.
AMIC has been the diagnostic backbone for Northern Colorado, Southern Wyoming and Western Nebraska medical communities for over three decades. Through the years, our fellowship-trained radiologists have been the first in these areas to offer many innovative diagnostic advances, including CT (computed tomography), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and PET (positron emission tomography).

AMIC is effectively raising the expectations of referring providers and their patients!

The full range of imaging, screening and interventional services

Many see the radiology group or department as a cost center with a fixed menu of services. Other, more progressive healthcare organizations share a vision of radiology as a new frontier in medicine, continually evolving and growing, with new options for improved diagnostic accuracy, achieving early disease detection and even treating disease—less invasively than ever before.

AMIC offers radiological interpretation services for all diagnostic modalities, including:
  • MRI/MRA
  • CT/CTA
  • PET
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Ultrasound
  • X-ray/Fluoroscopy
  • DEXA bone densitometry
We read the full range of women’s imaging services, including:
  • Screening and diagnostic mammography (including tomosynthesis)
  • Screening and diagnostic ultrasound
  • Breast MRI
  • DEXA bone densitometry
We interpret the latest disease screening technologies, including:
  • Low-dose lung screening
  • Cardiac screening (coronary calcium score)
  • CT “virtual” colonography

  • Vascular screening (AAA, carotid artery, etc.)
Using the latest vascular and interventional radiology techniques, we offer minimally invasive treatments or services for:
  • Vascular disease (PAD, DVT)
  • Cancer (lung, liver, colon)
  • Pelvic congestion syndrome
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Enlarged prostate (BPH)
  • Spine fractures
  • Pain management
  • Biopsies and fine needle aspiration
  • Dialysis access and maintenance
  • IVC filter placement and retrieval

A partnership with AMIC gives you the confidence of working with a team who remains on the cutting edge of radiological advances, allowing you to benefit from the broadest scope of services that will contribute to improved outcomes and better patient satisfaction.

Top-notch expertise and subspecialty training

Our subspecialized radiology team is available to you whenever you need it, Weekends and holidays are 100% covered by AMIC radiologists with final reads. We provide on-site coverage for procedures, ongoing collaboration with your center technologists and personnel, and complete teleradiology support.

Each of our doctors has undergone an additional 1-2 years of fellowship training that affords our radiology team the unique distinction of being subspecialized. This includes added expertise in:

  • Neuroradiology
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Musculoskeletal
  • Body imaging
  • Women’s imaging
  • Vascular & interventional radiology

Subspecialty training isn’t required to read and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, but we believe the additional training and focus of our team brings an added measure of diagnostic confidence to referring providers and the patients they serve.

Consultation with a radiologist is always just a phone call away. You’ll have access to one of our doctors 24x7x365, as part of our commitment to helping our partners deliver the highest quality patient care.

The many benefits of working with AMIC

24/7/365 support is vital, but it’s just the beginning.

At AMIC, we understand that fast report turnaround is critical to patient care, and you can count on us to get you the diagnostic information you need, when you need it, with turnaround times that exceed national standards.

Our radiologists fully cover (100%) your weekends and holidays with final reads. We provide on-site coverage for procedures, ongoing collaboration with your center technologists and personnel and complete teleradiology support.

The quality of our reporting is evident in two important ways. First, with the support of advanced data analytics, benchmarking reports and stringent quality control measures. Second, in the form of clear reports with actionable information and the ability to discuss any case with the reading radiologist.

Accessibility is another key benefit of working with AMIC. Your providers and support staff will have access to our robust PACS system where patient images and reports are always available. And our radiologists are available for collaboration and consultation whenever needed.

In their own words… partner testimonials

I’ve had the privilege of working with the AMIC group and its predecessor FCRA for 22 years. From the very beginning and right up to this day they provided us with more than just an outstanding reading service. The group takes interest in this facility and treats us like a partner. To say that the last 22 years has been a transitional time in radiology is an understatement. The vision, opinion and guidance as to the path we should follow in order to remain a viable service in our rural market has been invaluable. It seems difficult to envision that we would be in the position we are today without our partnership with the group. Finally, the group provides an outstanding service and they treat the patients and staff with respect, and that’s what really matters.”
