Position Summary 

  • Work closely with radiologists to facilitate workflow and daily needs in addition to supporting their interactions with customers
  • Coordinate all radiology image and report management functions including but not limited to: digital data (RIS/PACS) in a dynamic fast paced multi-hospital environment
  • Serve as professional liaison to radiologists and their clients
  • Contact referring providers and connect them to radiologists as needed
  • Serve as telephone triage & liaison for inbound/outbound calls and transfer to appropriate service/individuals
  • Perform quality control of exams ensuring they are ready for radiologist interpretation.
  • Monitor worklists and filters to ensure appropriateness and timeliness of reads
  • Facilitate addendums to reports and ensure reports are corrected
  • Maintain a continual high level of customer service both internally and externally
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Healthcare and customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; advanced problem-solving skills
  • Professional phone skills and experience
  • General computer skills and knowledgeable in basic computer terminology
  • Medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to multitask and troubleshoot
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to sit 6-8 hours per day entering data on PC

Pay Range

  • Pay starts at $15.25 per hour
  • A shift differential of $2 is paid for any shift starting after 3pm Monday-Friday, any overnight shift, and any weekend shift
  • Biweekly (every other Friday) pay schedule
