PACS Analyst

As the PACS Analyst, you will serve as the clinical lead within the IT department, supporting and optimizing AMIC’s clinical applications. You’ll work closely with radiologists, IT staff, and external partners to ensure seamless imaging workflows and compliance with quality standards.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, On-call rotation (evenings/weekends/holidays)
Salary: $60,000 to $90,000

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain internal systems.
• Lead PACS quality control and client compliance efforts.
• Develop tools to improve radiologist efficiency.
• Train internal and external users on clinical applications.
• Act as liaison with PACS staff at enterprise client locations.
• Support new business development and implementation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT experience in a radiology healthcare setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Radiology clinical expertise for PACS/RIS configuration.
• Experience with Visage PACS a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
