Accountant
About the Role
As part of the accounting team, you will perform core accounting functions while leveraging strong analytical and technical skills to support financial insights and decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong general accounting knowledge as well as financial and managerial reporting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and recurring general accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and GL account reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity
- Complete monthly financial close activities and prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for multiple entities
- Monitor results and provide in-depth variance analysis
- Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Support AP/AR processes and ensure accurate reporting
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide insights
- Prepare supporting documents used for tax preparation (1120, 1065) and assist with tax filings (use tax, 1099s)
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited 4-year college
- 2-4 years of accounting experience
- Prior tax, audit, or healthcare experience a plus
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort with accounting and data systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interface with management, radiologists, and other internal departments in a professional and courteous manner
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience

Our Process

- Initial phone interviews are anticipated to begin June 18th.
- Skills assessment and in-person interviews with selected candidates are anticipated to occur during the week of July 6th. This is a selective process and the testing and meeting with the AMIC team can take approximately 4 hours of your time.
